\n\"DSC_0607\"<\/a>A Pre Donation Talk: PEP Talk seminar was\"DSC_0606\"<\/a> held last November 23, 2015 from 8am to 5pm at SWU-MHAMCM Campus, Redemptorist Plaza,\u00a0Camputhaw ,Cebu City. Mr. Randal Angob of VSMMC – DOH Region 7, talked about how to encourage donors, the benefits of being a donor and the requirements of being one. Organized by the APMC-SN Visayas and led by SWU-MHAMCM Student council, the seminar was attended by all the medical schools in Central Visayas, namely Cebu Doctor’s University College of Medicine, Cebu Institute of Medicine, SWU-Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, \u00a0SWU- School of Medicine \u00a0and University of Visayas Gullas College of Medicine.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This seminar was held in relation to the Mobile Blood Donation Program of APMC-SN Visayas which is a once-a-week, three-months long event, also participated by the same schools. Each school took turns hosting a blood donation program\u00a0from October 29<\/a>\u00a0up to December 14,2015.<\/p>\n

The event was a major success with a total of 293 blood donors( 36 – CDU, 55 CIM, 121- SWU-MHAM, 25- SWUSM \u00a0& 56- UVGCM) . It was heartwarming to see the wholehearted volunteerism of each individual. We look forward to the same altruistic response for future blood donation drives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
