Made up of bronze, the monument\u00a0was a masterpiece of the Boholano sculptor and National Artist for Sculpture, Napoleon Abueva.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19419\" style=\"width: 780px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19419\" class=\"wp-image-19419\" src=\"https:\/\/mham.edu.ph\/wp\/mhammedicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/edited26_1024x681-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"770\" height=\"512\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-19419\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Class &#8217;68 at the Bohol Blood Compact Site in Bool District, Tagbilaran City&#8230;.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shortly after dropping at the Blood Compact Site, the\u00a0delighted tourist-doctors went to the Philippine Tarsier Foundation\u00a0natural habitat\u00a0in Corella town where the smallest known primates, no larger than an adult men&#8217;s hand known as tarsiers, are found. As most of them were first timers to see the territorial animal around the base of tree trunks with\u00a0enormous\u00a0eyes in comparison to its body, they\u00a0were amazed at how\u00a0small and peculiar the tarsiers are.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19418\" style=\"width: 805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19418\" class=\"wp-image-19418\" src=\"https:\/\/mham.edu.ph\/wp\/mhammedicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/4_1024x341.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"795\" height=\"265\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-19418\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">At the Philippine Tarsier Foundation in Corella, Bohol&#8230;<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In an interview with Dr. Juvenal Jabel at the habitat,\u00a0he cheerfully shared that the 50th year reunion of Class &#8217;68 was one of his most-awaited events of the year aside from his annual home visit\u00a0to the Philippines.\u00a0A native from Dumaguete City, Dr. Jabel resides in Kansas\u00a0City<em>,\u00a0<\/em>Missouri for more than forty years now together with his family. On the other hand I feel sad\u00a0to\u00a0our batchmates who have departed in this life already as they weren&#8217;t able to join us this day. It&#8217;s a mix feelings for being here today and\u00a0it is my delight to\u00a0be\u00a0present in\u00a0our reunion. Heavens must have heard her prayers\u00a0as she unceasingly implored for a good weather\u00a0during the Bohol tour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>&#8220;I am very, very happy for the fulfillment of the amazing plans\u00a0from the moment we started it\u00a0in our mini reunion held in the States and I was appointed as one of the organizing committee in the Philippines. We keep communicating with other doctors through facebook with the help of Dr. Marlou Fuentes. Actually it was very hectic and stressful\u00a0 but I did all my best to make it perfect. The whole day tour marks another important milestone\u00a0of their lives who were once dreamers\u00a0of becoming full-pledged physicians.
