WEAREMHAM: Enjoying the day under the same bright sun
The MHAM CM administration, faculty members and non-teaching staff enjoyed a whole-day get away at the Mactan Newtown Beach Club, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu last July 1, 2017.

Welcome to Mactan Newtown Beach Club with the MHAMale Club

“Sometimes we pause but sometimes we pose simply because WEAREMHAM”…
While everybody needs a break to enjoy the bracing coastal breeze, the MHAM employees flocked the beachfront area of the former Portofino Beach Resort and enjoyed the fascinating sight with other beach-goers who availed the much better amenities such as the aqua glide, banana boat, paddle board, jetski, wake boarding, jet boat and parasailing.

Formerly the Portofino Beach: The Mactan Newtown Beach Club at its best
The MHAM College Dean, Dr. Ma. Socorro Manaloto, initiated the get-together beach blast with its aim to live and celebrate the MHAM way with everyone’s pleasure in saying, “To the beach we go”.

WAREMHAM: To the beach and back
Redefining the tagline WEAREMHAM, the rare moment was well-spent with quality and gratifying time without having to face the medical classes and office works.

When the beach is calling, beat the heat…
A motivating non-working day to enjoy the heat of the same bright sun, the breeze and the cool waters of Mactan Island, the MHAM employees mostly of whom are beach lovers celebrated with much delight, laughter and fun.

Bring it on: Relax. Refresh. Recharge.

Making memories
For a non-teaching staff, Argie S. Estella, he considered the get-together beach bash as one of the most remarkable memories of being a MHAM employee. Having been working for three years now, this 32-year old IT staff could not contain his excitement with melodrama humor as he plunged into the enticing waters and enjoyed the whole day celebration along with other employees.
“Jokingly aside, before embarking to the destination I really had in mind that I need to have a memorable photoshoot against the sands where I can save it on my files to reminisce the moment to my memory. On top of it, I really enjoyed the day with the hope that there will be another season to celebrate as one MHAM family”, said this self-confessed heartthrob with a grin.

Redefining food is life with hunger games…
While life is always better at the beach and that summer never ends, the faculty-doctors, administrative and non-teaching staff shared the palatable and savory foods with refreshments more than anyone could ask for.

Redefining beach is life as we need vitamin sea…
To complete the heat, the MHAM CM school librarian, Almira B. Presbitero, also expressed her personal sentiments as her expectations have strikingly exceeded beyond compare.

WEAREMHAM and we bring it on…

Beating the heat…
“When I first knew that there will be an outing, I was excited about it that at last we make a difference in our daily routine. For me, as a MHAM employee for three years now, it is very important to us that employees should continue to socialize and share ideas across different departments as we grow in one company. These outings really help the employees to reinforce existing bonds and forge new bonds with newer employees. I did not expect nor aim for fun but it was beyond expectation. It just happened naturally. As we shared the delectable foods we prepared, we joke, we laugh together and we unite as one. As employees, I guess all of us aspires that at the end of the day, we want to have more fun and the more we’ll look forward to be inspired to work for the next day”, said this 24-year old lady librarian.

Life is always better at the beach
The whole day outing was one of the annual recreational activities and a way to build friendship and connectivity as one MHAM family. Today, as MHAM worked to be on its own, it has rebuilt itself not just towards medical excellence as a traditional culture but also towards good working relationship among employees. Truly, WEAREMHAM should not only be lived but be celebrated. (Ana Liza Abao)
