MHAM holds awarding ceremony for MHAM Days 2017 winning teams

MHAM Days 2017 Awarding Ceremony

The MHAM CM successfully held its awarding ceremony for this year’s MHAM Days winners at the AVRs 4-5 last August 15, 2017 in the morning.

The winning teams from Vitalis, Resiliere, Nexus and Illustre received their certificates, medals and plaques during the awarding ceremony with the MHAM CM VP for Academics, Dr. Arlene Diaz; College Dean, Dr. Ma. Socorro Manaloto; Associate Dean for Basic Sciences, Dr. Allan Librando; and Research Director, Dr. Jose Oclarit who graced the awarding moments of student-winners from various events.

The College Dean expressed her laudatory remarks to all the players who exemplified the true spirit of sportsmanship and who partook the 3-day celebration in honor of the late founder, Don Matias Hipolito Chavez Aznar II on his 110th birth anniversary.

This year, the  literary contests, board games and pinoy games were held inside the campus while the sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, futsal and table tennis which was held at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu bearing the tagline, WEREMHAM have made the celebration more eventful with fun-filled memories.

The Search for Mr. & Ms. MHAM 2017 along with the Sweet Escape-themed acquaintance party took place at the International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) Convention Center, Cebu City on a pastel-flavored night.

Meanwhile, the most outstanding researches and researchers for this year were also awarded during the ceremony with the MHAM CM Research Director, Dr. Jose Oclarit.

This year, the Nexus team proved once again that once a chapion, always a champion as they emerged as the over-all champion followed by Resiliere, Vitalis and Illustre teams, respectively.

This year’s winners will represent the school for the upcoming 2017 Association of Philippine Medical Colleges-Central Visayas Medlympics. Last year, MHAM athletic team known as MHAM Dragons emerged as the second placer in the over-all official tally during the 2016 Central Visayas Medlympics which was held at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu.
