Last August 15, 2015, SWU-MHAM kicked off MHAM days with their literary contests held at SWU-MHAM CM Campus.The literary Competition, comprising of he Quiz Bowl, Extemporaneous Speaking Contest and MidHenyo, was joined by representatives from Batch Elixir, Batch Illustre and Batch Nexus.
Students cheered for their team as the competition started off with the Quiz Bowl. In this game,two groups represented each batch in various levels of knowledge difficulty. The contestants were tested as to how far their Knowledge can answere the questions within the limit , Two teams from Batch Illustre garnered the highest scores gaining the spots for the champion and first runner-up represented by Ms. Jonavel Yrogirog and Ms. Hannah Leong, and by Mr.Ryan Jeb Cardeno with Ms. Fe Aliana Serapio, Batch Nexus, Mr. Amer Hussein Domado amd Ms.Hannah Mae Radjac, came on as 2nd runner-up. Each batch had one representative for the Extemporaneous speaking contest which came after the Quiz Bowl. The topics given were based on current issues in connection to medicine, and participants were given 5-7 minutes to deliver their speech. The winner for this competition was from Batch Nexus Ms. Katryn V. De Rozario, followed by Batch Illustre’s Ms. Julynnie Lomocso, and Ms.Abegail Espiritu from Batch Elixir
