Smile is something that grateful children gave away…
In keeping the founders’ vision to reach out to the communities especially to the children in the area, a Feeding Program was catered inside the MHAM campus last March 18, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:00 in the morning.

It’s children’s time: Bob the Minion is in the house
Well-prepared for about one hundred fifty children who are residing near the vicinity, the Feeding Program was part of the activities on the occasion of MHAM President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees’ special day.

Community Extension Services Office (CESO) Director, Dr. Ma. Yvonne Lanuza in her opening remarks
“There is really a good reason for us to celebrate today and a day to rejoice because of this mission, a befitting occasion in celebrating the birthday of our President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Elma Aznar-Sierra. We are really thankful that we have her in our institution and in our lives, as one family. Together with these children who joined us in our merriment today, we wish her a happy birthday with bountiful years to come”, said Dr. Lanuza.
Facilitated by the Sudent Council officers led by Governor-elect Louie Lopez, the activity was also graced by Mr. Jarvis Prochina, Dr. Ma. Yvonne Lanuza, Dr. Luditha Pe, Dr. Charles Cabataña, Dr. Antoinette Leuterio, Dr. Rainelda Veloso, Dr. Rosemarie Diaz, Dr. Chamberlain Agtuca, Mrs. Flora Baroman and some non-teaching employees.

Feeling amazed with the Dancing Trio
The Feeding Program beneficiaries were also surprised by the presence of Bob the Minion mascot who in turn, entertained them with his minion moves.

Aside from the hearty meal and the warmth welcome for the children who were present, they also received giveaways and other prizes through games and surprises to their delight.

MHAMission: Reaching out to the young ones
Hosted by MHAM student, Ivan Fernandez, the event was one of the school activities where the Student Council officers actively coordinated from planning to the day of the activity. “Thank you for coming for the birthday celebration of our President, Madame Sierra, and we look forward for another feeding mission with the hope that one of you here will become a doctor in the future”, said Lopez in his message.

Celebrating the gift of life with the children…
The Feeding Program is one of the missions in which the successor-educator, Mrs. Elma Aznar-Sierra, has kept for years, not just in addressing nutrition and food security problems in the neighboring area but in her humble way in sharing the real meaning of love and in celebrating the gift of life with a meaningful purpose.
