In an interview with Mr. Ludivino Alvez, he disclosed that the orientation dissemination in the region started last April this year. In a week, they can conduct five orientation services to respective members, as requested by many.

“This orientation is more on registration of the course and the awareness and familiarity of the members of the benefits of PhilHealth insurance and to remind the employers to its obligations to withhold or deduct and keep updated with regards to remittance and reporting”, said Alvez.

The orientation ended with a friendly reminder that all employers like MHAM are enjoined to actively work with their respective PhilHealth Regional Office in the updates of employers and employees records.

Challenged by change and empowered by unity for twenty-two years now, the PhilHealth orientation services on the rules and policies are set to allow members to keep updated on their membership status and for the benefits it has served. (Ana Liza Abao)
